Mini Nubian Goats
Let's get right down to it. I love farming. It is my bliss, escape and my happy place. I also love my mini Nubian goats ( Nigerian and Nubian cross, we have second generation Mini Nubians). They are the best milkers for a small hobby farm ( IMO ) These gloriously coated cuties give liquid vanilla ice cream - literally zero sugars or vanilla added when making homemade goats milk ice cream!!
We make soft goat cheese , the above mentioned ice cream and yogurt as our dairy staples. Being sensitive to cows milk means we only use goats milk to keep our digestion happy.
These guys take up less space , eat less and if keeping your fences standing is a #farmgoals then these sweeties are for you too! I have repaired and replaced so much fence when I owned Alpines and Nubians, big girls take out fences from my experience.
We have a little family on board right now. Mama Fauna, Daddy Buck Atticus and springs' new arrivals Little Elvis and Kitty. They are having a blast romping around, zesty and downright foolish. I love spring. Especailly with these goats!
Kitty and Elvis , kids from Fauna and Atticus,
are ready for new homes May 1st!
